Elizabeth Edith E. Kuhberg Treants

Born March 31, 1925 in Wattenscheid, Westphalia, Germany. She was the daughter of the late Erdmann and Martha (Stonys) Kuhberg.

Elizabeth is Survived by her son Eugene "Gene" and his wife Brenda (Parris) of Sophia, two grandchildren Eric Treants of Raleigh and Jennifer Owen and one great-grandchild Kaleb "Jayce" Owen both of Asheboro. Her nephew Michael Bremer and niece Heidelinde Bodenbender and great niece Carmen Bodenbender all of Germany. Her half brothers and sisters Carl Kuhberg, Mary Lou Kuhberg Herron, Wilhelm Kuhberg, Henry Kuhberg, Alfred Kuhberg, Julie Elizabeth Kuhberg Palynchuk, Linda Elaine Kuhberg, and Wilford Kuhberg all of Canada.

In addition to her parents and husband, Elizabeth is predeceased by her son Chris Treants Jr, and her siblings Hans Kuhberg, Hilde Kuhberg, and Charlotte Kappeller of Germany and her Niece Ingrid Bremer of Germany. Her half brothers Leonard and Wilhelm Kuhberg of Canada.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Dale Kennedy. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
