

A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, March 12, 11:00 a.m. at Lawndale Baptist Church, 3505 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro, NC. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Ann was born August 19, 1931 in Forrest City, Arkansas and was the daughter of Ocie Dover. She graduated in 1949 from Forrest City High School, Arkansas and married Garoll Dee Willis of Greely, Colorado on April 11, 1953.
Ann held various jobs throughout her life, including working as Director of Tax Administration for a large Mortgage Broker, as a receptionist for Carolina Circle Mall and Return Preparer for several CPAs in the Greensboro Area. In her later years she was a self-employed CNA and worked as a Customer Service Representative for Abbottswood Retirement Home.
Ann is survived by her husband, Dee Willis; her children, Deborah Pate, Todd Willis (Melissa), Terrie Teachey (Mark) and Beth Duke (ED); and her grandchildren, Christopher Pate, Bailey Willis, Laura Beth Teachey, Jared Teachey, Emily Gootee, Samantha Duke and Daniel Duke; and brother Howard Pettus. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ocie Dover; her son Ricky Barron Willis and her grandson, Michael Pate.
Ann will always be remembered for her love of God, her family, her church, and her friends. She had a radiant, beautiful smile and made many friends during her life. She loved to study the Bible and participated in many activities at Lawndale Baptist Church for over 45 years.
Memorials may be made to the Lawndale Baptist Church Building Fund or to Hospice Home at High Point, High Point, NC.
