

Elliott John Luce of McLeansville, NC, went to his savior on January 23, 2015 in Tahiti. He was on his dream trip to Bora Bora when he collapsed from complications of cancer. His brother, John, was with him and made arrangements to airlift him to the hospital in Tahiti. John, and Roger and Mary Chance were at his side as he passed from his earthly paradise to his heavenly home.
Elliott leaves behind his beloved son, Dominic, of Reidsville, NC. Dominic was truly the light of his life. He is survived by parents Mary and Roger Chance of McLeansville, NC, and Roger and Jayne Luce of Rothschild, WI; brothers John Luce (Krystal) of Dobson, NC, Patrick and Paul Luce of Rothschild, WI, and sister Nadine Payne of Kernersville, NC; and Grandmother Dickie Lehman of Beaver Dam, WI. Also missing him are nephews Jackson Luce and Bradley Payne, and niece Chelsea Payne along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Elliott was preceded in death by grandparents Arthur Lehman, and Allen and Mary Luce all of Winneconne, WI, and Wanda Chance of Seabrook, MD.
Born May 14, 1979 in Oshkosh, WI, Elliott was a 1997 graduate of Eastern Guilford High School. Elliott believed in living each day to the fullest and pursuing dreams. A true artist, he applied his talents to painting and airbrushing cars, trucks, motorcycles, helmets, snowboards and skateboards.
Elliott’s family will receive guests at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 North Elm St, Greensboro on Saturday, February 7 from 4 – 6 p.m. A service celebrating Elliott’s life will be held on Sunday, February 8 at 2 pm at the same location.
The family asks everyone who knew Elliott to please write memories of him which will be put into a book for his son, Dominic. Memories may be given to us or sent by e-mail or Facebook to any family member. We also want to give special thanks to Dr. Veshna Ramiah and all of the nurses and staff at Alamance Regional Cancer Center in Burlington, NC. Elliott truly loved them and appreciated their kindness and loving care.
