Mrs. Flossie May Stanley Bryant, 92, a resident of Greensboro died Wednesday morning October 2, 2013. Mrs. Bryant was born October 29, 1920 in Guilford County the daughter of Albert P. and Mamie Ward Stanley. She was a charter member of the Pinecroft-Sedgefield Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
She was married to Simon Wilson Bryant who preceeded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, James Grady Bryant.
Surviving are one son, Joseph Wilson Bryant and wife Elsie of Greensboro; one brother, Calvin Stanley of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Deborah Apple, Dawn Bryant, James Bryant, Matthew Bryant; four great grandchildren and a special friend, J.B. Drake of Greensboro.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery with Mr. Jack Canter officiating.
