

Frank Walden Crouch, 91, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014, at Pennybyrn at Maryfield in High Point. He was born on October 26, 1923 in Forsyth County, the son of Edward Lewis and Nadia Lillian Lee Puryear Crouch. Frank served his country in the US Marine Corp during WW II in the Southwest Pacific Theater. He graduated from Catawba College in 1950. He served as a Federal Agent with the IRS, retiring in 1979. He then opened his own tax accounting firm, Frank W. Crouch Inc.
Frank was active in Scouting and the PTA. He also was a member at First Moravian Church for over 63 years where he served on various committees and served as the Provincial Financial Board Chairman. He was a volunteer member of the Pinecroft Sedgefield Fire Department. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by all.
Frank was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Those surviving are his loving wife of 65 years, Theo Hager Crouch of the home; children, Patricia Hundley(Frank) of Greensboro, NC, Mary Dillon(Rick) of Greensboro, NC, Frank L. Crouch(Audrey West) of Bethlehem, PA, Nancy Falish(Ed) of Jamestown, NC; grandchildren, Ann Kim, Trey Hundley, Jennifer Creef, Amy Merino, Carl Falish, Stephanie Falish and seven great grandchildren who called him “Grandpa the Great.”
Services to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, 2:30 p.m. at the First Moravian Church with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park with full military honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the church.
