Born on April 29, 1938, in Erie, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Frank Shadley Sr. and Viola Boberg Shadley.
Frank was a retired construction project engineer, known for his work on refinery EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) mega projects. His career took him around the world, overseeing significant builds in Saudi Arabia and India.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Mae Shadley. Frank is survived by his daughters, Stacey Darraugh and Lisa Albritton, and his grandchildren, Justin Darraugh, aged 28, Taylor Darraugh, aged 25, and Lucy Albritton, aged 13.
A respected member of the community, Frank was involved with Calvary Church in Greensboro, North Carolina.
A graveside service officiated by Scott Truhe will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, located at 3901 Forest Lawn Dr, Greensboro, NC 27455, on December 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
Frank will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
