George Breslow, March 8, 2023 of Voorhees, NJ formerly of Greensboro, NC. Beloved husband for over 70 years of Zelda Breslow. Cherished father of Diane Breslow and Alan (Sherri) Breslow. Adored grandfather of Brandon (Rachel) Breslow and Sydney Breslow. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. George was a graduate of the Univ. of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He was the Managing Partner of Breslow Starling Frost Warner and Boger, PLLC, CPA’s until 1987 and then remained partially active as a senior partner at Breslow Starling Frost Warner Boger Hiatt PLLC, CPA’s. George was a Founding Trustee, former Board Member, Chairman of the Finance Committee and Treasurer of Greensboro Day School. He was a former member of the NC Assoc. of CPA’s, served as Chairman of the Committee on Taxation, was a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the Tax Section of the AICPA. George served on many boards including, the Greensboro Estate Planning Council, and was a former Board Member and past-president of Starmount Forest Country Club. He also served as a member of the UNC-G Accounting Dept. Advisory Council.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 12, 2023 beginning 11:00 am at Advantage Funeral Services, 1900 Vanstory St. Greensboro, NC. Interment Greensboro Hebrew Cemetery.
