Geraldine Bullock Donnell

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 29, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel in the Lineberry Center, 515 North Elm Street, Greensboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Gerry and her husband Joe, a Veteran of the Air Force, lived in Germany and Italy as well as many other places the military life would lead them. She also lived at times in Winston Salem and Rocky Mount, NC. Gerry worked for 41 years as a nurse and was a director of nursing. She also taught nursing for a while at Martin Community College.

After she retired from nursing, she volunteered with the Red Cross. She enjoyed watching UNC Tarheels or any ACC basketball, working in the yard and making macramé plant holders. She also enjoyed bowling along with her daughter, Kristal.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Joe, Gerry was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Bullock and her twin sister, Polly Savage. She is survived by her daughters, Kristal Roebuck, Redeana Roebuck; brother, WB Bullock and her sisters, Janice Smith, Nancy Shonk and Elizabeth Swinson.
