Mrs. Grace Lorine Shaw

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Shaw was a member of Sheldon Road Baptist Church and the Lady’s Sunday School Class. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eva Simpson Watson, a son, David L. Shaw, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by her husband of 59 years, David B. Shaw, Jr., sons, Philip Shaw and wife, Isolde of Germany, Gary Shaw and wife, Tracy of Asheboro, daughter, Janet Adkins and husband, Sammy of Greensboro, daughter-in-law, Debra Shaw of Browns Summit, grandchildren; Michele Haller and husband, Michael, Kristin Montalta and husband, Marco, Traci Harrelson and husband, Ronnie, Chris Browning and wife, Amanda, Kari Sechrist and husband, Jason, David W. Shaw, Daniel Shaw and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
