Helen Heavner Hildebrand, 91, a resident of Jamestown died Sunday April 7, 2013 at Wesley Long Hospital. Mrs. Hildebrand was born June 11, 1921 in Burke Co., the daughter of Latta and Fannie Abee Heavner. A resident of Greensboro since 1959, she owned and operated Helen’s Beauty Salon. She was a member of Gate City Baptist Church. Helen was married to Forest Hildebrand who preceded her in death.
Surviving are four daughters, Carolyn Davis and husband Charlie of Durham, Janet Hildebrand of Naples, FL, Donna Leber and husband John of Indian Land, SC, Diane Blake and husband Wayne of Highland Village, TX; one son, Wilbur Hildebrand and wife Lucy of Sarasota, FL; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Gate City Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Michael Owens. Entombment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
