A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2016, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel with Reverend Joe Chandler officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.
Helen was born April 3, 1936, in Stokes County, NC to the late William and Gladys Ore. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Chapel.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eugene Dunn; son, Johnny Ray Dunn; brothers, Hanes, James Robert and R.D. Ore and sisters, Mozelle Parrish and Thelma Suits.
She is survived by her children, Douglas Dunn and wife Susie, Sharon Chrisco, Eddie Eugene Dunn, Sherrie Bruton and husband Sean all of Greensboro; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and her sisters, Dorothy Slate and husband, Donald of Florida and Nellie Eller and husband, Elmo of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel.
