Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the Mount Hope United Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Guilford County, Eddie was a member of the Southeast Fishing Club, an avid fisherman and hunter.
Preceded in death by his father, Howard Minor, Eddie is survived by his wife Pam Minor, son Jeff Minor and his wife Joy, mother Imogene Copeland, brother Joe Minor, sisters Barbara Honaker, Carol Wright and her husband Mike, father-in-law and mother-in-law Harold “Diz” and Doris Reece, sister-in-law Cynthia McGee and husband Dennis, sister-in-law Sharon Nance and husband Donnie, brothers-in-law Harold Reece and Timmy Reece, 2 grandchildren Carson and Olivia, 6 nieces and 5 nephews.
The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 -1:00 p.m. Thursday.
