Shirley Irene Clemons, age 88, of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024. Irene was born March 23, 1936 in Grayson County, Virginia the daughter of Blye and Sarah Lou Peak Hash.
She worked for over 30 years with ther former Andco Industries in Greensboro where she was a designer.
Irene was married to Homer Kenneth Clemons who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patricia Maxine Lee; a grandson, Charles Hall; her twin sister shortly after birth, Maxine Hash, her sister, Lucille H. Riley and a brother, Darrell Hash.
Surviving are a daughter, Debbie C. Cates of Pleasant Garden; a brother, Jerry Hash of Mouth of Wilson, VA; five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and two expected to born soon.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday December 28, 2024 at the Stevens Creek Church of God of Prophecy cemetery near Fries, Virginia officiated by Pastor Tony Vaughn.
