My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.  I have only good memories of Aunt Irene; she could always bring a smile to all those she came into contact with, especially me.  She was a warm and tender spirited woman who will be missed by all.

She loved to laugh and made the best biscuits in the world!  She was a wise woman and always treated me like a daughter. Irene was part of my extended family, and I remember growing up with her and being around her and she was a wonderful person and always made me laugh. She will truely be missed. I called her Granny too eventhough she wasn't mine, she was like one to me. My thoughts and prayers go out to my cousins and family that have truely lost a great person.

I am so glad our friendship has stood the test of time in the good times and the bad, since we met in High School. To the family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We loved Irene and the way her house was always open to all of us. We spent a lot of Saturdays taking the two ladies to yard sales. Those days are memories that we will never forget. God Bless each of you!

I've known Granny since I can remember.  She was close friends with my Granny.  I'll never forget all the memories and good times or the 6 am wake ups with Tiffany to go the yard sales.  My heart goes out to the family.  She was an amazing Granny to everyone she knew (even if it wasn't blood related).

Irene is my daughter-in-law's grandmother.  (Tiffany)  I didn't know Irene, (granny as we all called her) every long.  During her visits to Jason and Tiffany's house she was such a joy.  She was a delight to be around.  We loved the stories she told about growing up and raising her family.  We will always remember the joy and happinest that she brought into our hearts.  Granny will greatly be missed by many.  Our prayers are with those left behind because we know Granny is were she wants to be....reuniting with those gone on before her.
