A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Lakeview Memorial Park.
He was a native of Guilford County and was born to James and Sallie Overman. He was an employee at Lorillard Tobacco Company for forty three years.
Mr. Overman is preceded in death by his wife Rosie F. Overman. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Younts and husband Jeff of Gibsonville; son, James Overman of Greensboro; sister, Mary Lineback of South Carolina; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 7-9pm at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro NC 27405.
