James “Jim” Alvin Pearman, 68, a resident og Greensboro passed away on Friday October 9, 2015 at Moses H Cone Hospital. Mr. Pearman was born June 17, 1947 in Greensboro, the son of Charles Lofton and Louise Nugent Pearman.
Jim was the owner of Painting by Jim Pearman and was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Della Jo Jarvis, Barbara Pearman and three brothers, Max Weldon Pearman, Charles Wallace Pearman and Danny Sherrill Pearman.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Wood Pearman of the home; two daughters, Laura Brooke Pearman and Marilyn Pearman of Greensboro; two sisters, Charlotte Perkins of Charlotte and Betty Hutchison of Raleigh and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Don Rumple. Interment with Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
