A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel with Rev. Don Clement officiating. The family visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 2:00 pm.
James was born to James Walter and Grace Crenshaw Ryals in Guilford County, on July 8, 1946. He served in the United States Marine Corp and worked as a Deputy Sheriff for fifteen years. He retired from Paychex where he worked in data processing.
He was predeceased by his parents. James is survived by his sons, James Ryals Jr. of Julian and William Ryals of Gibsonville; brothers, J.W. Ryals and David Ryals and sister Dawn Brady.
