Jane Goodson

Jane B. Goodson, 87, passed away on Sunday February 24, 2013. She is survived by her husband William A. Goodson Jr., her three children William A. Goodson III and his wife Leigh Goodson of Ridgewood, NJ, Missy Chance and her husband James Chance of Jamestown, NC, and Thomas H. Goodson of Greensboro, and her grandchildren Mika Chance, James Chance and James Goodson, her siblings Mary Bohannon, Anne Criscillas and Sarah Wright and John Bohannon who predeceased her.

Jane was born in Sandersville, GA and grew up in Asheville, NC. She and her husband, Bill owned and operated Allen Hardware for many years. She later worked at the Children’s Home Society for over 20 years.

She was a longtime member of St. Francis Episcopal Church. She taught Sunday School for over 20 years and was an active member of the Saint Elizabeth’s Circle as well as serving in the Stephens Ministry.

Visitation will take place at the Parish Hall at St Francis Episcopal Church, 3506 Lawndale Drive, Greensboro, NC from 4:00 to 6:00 on Friday, March 1, 2013.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Saint Francis Episcopal Church beginning at 4:00 followed by a reception in the Parish Hall
