Jay was born June 14, 1965 In Greensboro, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Rupert Johnson, Jr. and Carolyn Elmore.
Jay is survived by his son, Graham Johnson of Greensboro; daughter, Rachel Johnson of Greensboro; and his sister, Angela Adams (Chuck) of Pleasant Garden.
Jay was the Founder/Owner of Swedish Auto Works of Greensboro, NC for almost 30 years. He was an avid golfer and lover of terrible music. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading. Jay, was well known for his exceptional mechanic expertise.
A casual celebration of life gathering will be held Friday December 17, 2021 between 5-7 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Greensboro.
