Jerry Wayne Allen Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Northwest Church of Christ at 12:45 p.m. with Dr. Earl Taylor officiating. The family visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 11:45 a.m. with refreshments served.

Jerry was born in Lecanto, FL to the late Austin and Violet King Allen. He worked for Otis Elevator for twenty five years as an installer, maintenance and repair. He later started his own company, ASK. He was a long time member of Northwest Church of Christ. Jerry was a US Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Jerry is survived by his wife, Wilma Norris Allen; sons, Randall Allen of Greensboro, Daniel Allen and wife Susan of McKinney, TX and Wayne Allen and wife Barbara of McLean, VA; brother, Frank Allen and wife Della of Lecanto, FL; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue Greensboro, NC 27405 in memory of Jerry Allen, Sr.
