Our beloved Mom-Mamaw-Wife-Sister Jo-Aunt JoAn Stanley Thomas, age 80, of Greensboro slipped away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. JoAn was born on November 10, 1944, the baby of the "three Stanley Sisters", while her Dad was in Europe fighting in WWII.
JoAn lived for her family and along with her sisters Linda Garner and Sandra Southern made sure family traditions were important events and celebrated for following generations.
She is survived by husband Larry Thomas of 61 years, son Brian Thomas, daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Russell Bratcher; grandsons Kyle Thomas, Seth Bratcher, sisters Linda Garner and Sandra Southern; nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Mom and Dad-Dan and Epsie Ingram Stanley; nephew Robert Peele.
JoAn will be Loved and Remembered until the last family member has the last breath.
