She is survived by her husband Steve Allen; mother, Dorothy Rogers; son, Dustin Pitts and wife Shelley; sisters, Donna Rogers, Cara Rogers and husband Muhammad; nephew, Brent Spencer; nieces, Marriam Bavafa, Lauren Fields; step-children, Michelle Parish, Daniel Allen and special people, John Spencer and Pat Johnson. She was preceded in death by her father, William Rogers.
Judy was a friend to all and generous with her time and resources. She loved her dogs, Sugar-bear, Annabelle and Charlie. She loved writing poetry and had a natural gift for racquet ball. Before earning her Associates Degree from GTCC, Judy was a Cheerleader at Smith High School.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
