Julia Lowe, 83, died February 19, 2022, at her home in Greensboro, NC after a six-month battle with stomach cancer. Mrs. Lowe was born August 17, 1938, in Searcy, Arkansas. She spent most her life in Northern California prior to moving to North Carolina to be close to her family. Over the course of 25 years, Julia travelled to over 50 countries and attained the rank of Life Master in Bridge, sharing her love of the game and teaching thousands of players. Mrs. Lowe also was an avid dog lover, caring for seven dogs throughout her lifetime.
She is predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Collins, and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kerri and Rolando Buted and by her son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Teresa Chandler and 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will take place at The Grande Clubhouse on March 9th from 2-4 pm. This open house will be an opportunity to share memories of Julia’s joyous life.
