Kathe Fischer Burger, 92, a resident of the Sedgefield Community passed away on Monday November 25, 2024. She was born January 30, 1932 in Novi Vrbas, Yugoslavia, the daughter of the late Jakob and Elisabetha Pfeiffer Fischer.
She was a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church.
Kathe was married for 62 years to Philip Burger who preceded her in death on February 22, 2017.
Surviving are her two sons, Philip Jakob Burger and wife Sarah of Greensboro, Peter Michael Burger and wife Elizabeth of Greensboro; two grandchildren, Erika Burger Maynard and husband Brandon, Philip James Burger and wife Anna and two great grandchildren, Warren Maynard and Vivienne Maynard.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday December 3, 2024 at Jamestown United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
