He was born November 8, 1952 to the late Mr. Eugene and Edna Dodson in Guilford County. Keith worked for Orgill Inc. of Tifton, Georgia for 13 years as a local truck driver. He was very proud to have been a veteran after serving in the National Guard. He loved his grandkids more than anything. He liked Nascar, NFL, MLB and, was a loyal Duke fan. He also enjoyed being outdoors mowing yards, watching his grandkids play, and many years of playing on his son Kevin’s softball team.
In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Shoe.
Surviving is his wife, Sylvia; son, Kevin Dodson (Elizabeth) of Browns Summit; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Kayla, Owen, Mattie, Blake, Maci and Chase.
The service will be held in the Chapel at Hanes Lineberry 515 N. Elm St. at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Graveside Services will conclude at Forest Lawn Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his parents. The family will receive friends at the home of Kevin and Elizabeth Dodson at 205 Plum Hollow Ct. Browns Summit, N.C. 27214 following the service.
