GREENSBORO: Ken Smallwood, 63, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital.
He was born July 24, 1947, in New Martinsville, WV to the late Paul and Jeanette Garland Smallwood. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Lynda Smallwood O’Neal.
He is survived by his wife Maggie Fleming Smallwood of the home; a son, Martin Smallwood; a brother, Paul Michael Smallwood and wife Jan; and two nephews, Mark and Kevin Smallwood.
Ken attended Texas A&I and Texas Southmost College in Brownsville, Texas. He worked as a sales rep. for Tony Lama Boot Co., Acme/Dan Post Co. and Dingo. He was very successful having received multiple Sales Awards.
There will be a Memorial Service at a later date in Seneca, South Carolina.
