Kenneth graduated from Satellite High School in 1985 and went on to work in a shop fixing and repairing cell phones. In 2004, Kenneth moved to Burlington, NC and got a job working on the cell towers for Cingular, now known as AT&T, and continued to work for them until his passing. He enjoyed working on vehicles, sitting outside and talking to his birds (which he named), spending time with his family, and helping anyone in need.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his mother, Flora Hinton Takamoto, and his father, James Yoshitada Takamoto. He is survived by his brothers, Richard Takamoto(Charles Mallory) and Michael Takamoto(Theresa), his fiancée, Connie Hamilton, his children, Samantha Takamoto and Aaron Takamoto, his step children, Michael Bates(Nikki) and Jennifer Huffines(Steve), and 5 step grandchildren, Joseph, Jake, Ateara, Skyler, and one baby girl on the way.
