Kevin John Smith

Kevin was born on September 25, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of John A. and Ellen Perry Smith. He was employed with Tyco Electronics for over fifteen years. Kevin was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the piano. He had a lively spirit and brought laughter to everyone he met.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father. Those left to cherish his memory are Diane I. Mildon of High Point, NC; daughter, Rachel Christina Smith of Greensboro, NC and son, Alexander Ryan Smith of High Point, NC; his mother, Ellen V. Smith and sisters, Cathy Friend and husband Jerry and Karen May, all of Erie, PA; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Miller, Justin Friend, Joel Friend, Jonathan May and Stephanie May; and two great-nieces, Madelyn and Grace Miller. Kevin will also be dearly missed by the Mildon Family: Patricia, Billy, Paula, Patty and Conner, as well as many friends and co-workers.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, Greensboro, NC. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening December 27th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel and again on Wednesday, December 28th from 1:30 p.m. till service time.
