Mrs. Hearn was born on January 14, 1929 in Rocky Mount, NC, a daughter to the late Lester Moody and Florence Rebecca Moody Smith. For over 50 years, she had been a dedicated member of Rolling Roads Baptist Church in Greensboro. She also retired from Southern Bell after many faithful years of service. Mrs. Hearn enjoyed watching Carolina Panthers Football, going to the beach and on family vacations, and playing in her bowling league.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Jimmie Hearn, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her four daughters, Pam Brooks of Greensboro, Cindy Stokes of High Point, Tonya Hearn of High Point, and Karen Suddreth and husband Mark of Ocean Isle; and four grandchildren, Zach Suddreth and wife Shannon, Jennifer Brooks, Cameron Suddreth, and Alli Suddreth.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday, January 24, 2020 at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with Pastor James Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Grace Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until the hour of the service Friday at the funeral home.
