

He was born in Long Island, NY to Henry Joseph and Rose Colacino Fernandez on June 8th, 1957.
Left to cherish Larry’s memory is his wife, Mary Fernandez; daughters; Elayna Fernandez, Leann Hauser, Cecelia Hauser, Victoria Hauser; brother Michael Fernandez; along with many friends and family.
Larry left this earth a warrior, he fought a long 5 year battle fearlessly with colon cancer. He spent his years building a business in printing with this brother Michael. Larry loved to sing and dance, some of his favorite songs came from Alvin & The Chipmunks and playing the guitar. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and sit by the fire. One of his favorite pastimes was creating new inventions with electronics. Larry will always be remembered for his kind, sweet, strong, smart yet calm spirit. Larry was his wife and daughters’ best friend and Superman. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend that will be missed by all who knew him.
A wake will be held at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel at 6000 West Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC on Wednesday, August 23rd from 3:00-5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM and again on Thursday, August 24th from 3:00-5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Friday, August 25th at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 2203 W Market Street, Greensboro, NC. Burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park, 6000 West Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC.
