

Len was born in Burlington, NC and attended A&T State University in Greensboro, NC where he resided for 38 years with his loving wife Lana Delois Evans McBroom.
One of Len’s prize possessions were his sons, Michael Len McBroom of Atlanta, GA and Allen Lamar McBroom (Stephanie) of Durham, NC. He loved his sons and was very proud of their accomplishments.
Len was the Jack of all Trades and Master of Few. He loved all sports and even had the opportunity of being the Assistant Coach for Allen’s Little League soccer team. Len was a pack rat, but always meant well with others in mind. He loved fixing things and helping other people was another one of his passions.
Len was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Odell McBroom, Allene Tartley, James Henry Moore, Lucille Daye Moore; his younger brother Gregory Marshall McBroom and sister Maxine McBroom.
Len leaves to cherish his precious memories, his brother, Derrick Clavron McBroom (Elizabeth) of Stamford, CT; one sister, Sandria Jenkins Ford (Domonic) of Riviera Beach, FL; one uncle, Wesley Moore of Stratford, CT; two aunts, Ophelia Moore Vaughn of Tampa, FL and Margie Moore Scott of Burlington, NC; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Len will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A Service to Celebrate Len's Life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday June 6, 2017 at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel with the Reverend Irvin Moore, Jr. officiating.
