A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Lakeview Memorial Park, with Dr. Tim White officiating.
Born October 23, 1923, in Greensboro, to the late John Alvin and Lillian Williams Campbell, Lilly was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful cook, who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. Her memory will be cherished by her family as a testament to her Christian life and her personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold N. Sexton, Sr. and a beloved son, James Aaron “Duke” Sexton.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Harold N. Sexton, Jr. and his wife Ginger of Greensboro and David E. Sexton and his wife Lu Ann of Trinity; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm Monday evening, June 6, 2011, at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel.
