

She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 25, 1935, to George N. Ehly and Hannah Farrer Ehly and was a graduate of Lower Marion High School and Drexel University. She married her one true love Daniel David Miller on November 30, 1957 and they spent a lifetime together traveling, laughing and loving life.
Lois was an avid water colour artist, was extremely talented in cross stitch, knitting, needlepoint, sewing and could play a shrewd game of bridge. She was a fierce and loyal friend to those lucky enough to know her and she always had time to spare for those in her fold.
She is survived by her son Steven Miller (Lisa) ; Daughter Linda Hester (Sheperd); sister Charlotte Miller; five Grandsons, Luke Miller and Sam Miller, Julian Hester, Jeremy Hester, and Joshua Hester; Nieces Barbara Wilde & Nancy Persall; nephews Craig Miller & David Miller; dear family friend Zach Chase and her many friends over the years.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Whitestone Retirement Community Chapel, 700 South Holden Road, Greensboro, NC 27407 on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
