Louise Clark Sutton, 78, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Moses Cone Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Monday, 10:00 a.m. at Guilford Memorial Park with Reverend Doctor Kyles Y. Wallace officiating.
Louise was born on Feb. 7, 1933 in Fort Payne, AL, the daughter of Edward M. and Ruth Dawkins Clark. She graduated from Greensboro High School and worked with the John Harland Clark Company until her retirement in 1991. She had a true zest for life and loved interacting with people. She volunteered her time and talent performing with a band that gave programs in senior citizen communities. Louise loved animals, especially dogs.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Edward Clark. Surviving are her nieces and nephews; James R. Clark of Hawaii, Suzanne C. Sale of Charlotte, NC, Janie C. Abeles of Grantville, GA, April C. Craddock and Valerie C. Routh, both of Greensboro, NC, Edward M. Clark of Reidsville, NC; six great nieces and nephews and three great great nieces and nephews.
