Margaret was born on September 3, 1929, in Cheraw, South Carolina. She owned and operated Teal Beauty Salon for over 32 years. Margaret was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by all.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, 2:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Graveside services will be on Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens in Cheraw, SC.
Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband, E.C. Teal. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 38 years, Hubert L. Hawks Jr.; daughters, Glenda Nicholson and husband Darrell and Nonie Teal, all of Greensboro, NC; son, Eric Teal of Wentworth, NC; step daughters, Sharon Byrd and husband Dennis and Kim Hall and husband Marty, all of Greensboro, NC; sisters, Alice St Laurent of Florida, and Ann Goodale of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Kimberly Cass and husband Geoffrey of Summerfield, NC and Michael Teal and wife Jennifer of Reidsville, NC; six other grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel is assisting the Hawks family.
