

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the Gospel Baptist Church where she was a member. Burial will follow at the Reedy Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was born March 22, 1920 in Greensboro, North Carolina to Henry and Anna Guffey and was the middle of three children. Margaret worked for many years at the Cone Mills Revolution Plant. She was a bright, bubbly shining light in the community and in her church at Gospel Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Johnny Williamson, brother Clifton Guffey, sister Ruth Farlow and grandson Mike Peele.
Margaret is survived by her three daughters, Martha Ann Peele (Marvin), and Dee Coltrane (Robert) of Browns Summit, Betty Johnson of Greensboro, as well as by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A very special thanks to Eva Wilcox and the nurses at Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro for their extraordinary care and loving compassion.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m. Sunday at the Gospel Baptist Church, 5945 N. Church Street.
