Maria was born on May 30, 1944, in Lupara, Italy. She immigrated to Montreal, Canada with her family in 1952. It was there that she met the love of her life, Anthony Edward Duarte Chabrol in 1964. They married on October 15, 1966, and celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in 2011.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony Chabrol of Greensboro, Her children; John Chabrol and wife Joann of Blandon, PA, Katherine Fournier and husband Bryan of Greensboro and Jason Chabrol of Dallas, TX. Her grandchildren; Mikala Chabrol, Steven Chabrol and Jennifer Chabrol, all of Blandon, PA; sister, Palmarose Salvatore and brother, Giovanni D’Abarno and wife Ida, all of Montreal, Canada and her “Precious Little Munchkin” Augustus Aloysius Doggus of the home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 2205 W. Market St, Greensboro, NC 27403. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
