Martha was born in Greensboro on November 7, 1942, the daughter of Cleo and Frances Barham. She worked with Bates Niteware and more recently was the manager of the Rainbow Laundry Mat. She loved to garden and just being in the outdoors. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Larry Arnold Osborne and Mark Allen Osborne and one sister, Glenda Phillips. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Robert E. Parker of the home; step son, Robert E. Parker, Jr. and wife Rhonda of the Outer Banks, NC; step daughter, Patricia Lynn Adams of Greenville, NC; grandson, Robert M. Parker of San Francisco, CA; sisters, Mary Gann and husband Wendel, Jean Vernon and husband Ai, Peggy Biggs, Debbie Grey and husband Brian. Martha was also the guardian of Hannah and Alex Weng.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with Rev. Tony Parker officiating. Entombment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
