Rawleigh Alson and Mary Jewell Mowery Moore.
Mary was a graduate of Page High School. She had worked with the Syngenta Corporation in research and development.
She is survived by her life long best friend, Dianne Starr of Greensboro; her cousin who she thought of as a brother, Russell Maxwell and his wife Dr. Tanya Maxwell of Statesville; their children that Mary considered her grandchildren, Neal Maxwell, Katherine McCombs and husband Josh and Julia Kate McCombs she considered as a great grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday February 1, 2025 at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to be made to SPCA of Guilford County, 3163 Hines Chapel Road Greensboro, NC 27405 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
