Mary M. Vestal

Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She will be deeply missed. She was a long time member of Springfield Baptist Church and had recently joined Gospel Way Baptist Church. Mary worked at Indian Head and Rice Hosiery Mills as a Boarder. Along with her husband and family, the founded and were charter members of Blessing Baptist Church. She actively supported this church until the passing of her husband.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Bobby Lee Vestal in 2008 and son, Terry L. Vestal; sister, Faye Chadwell; brothers, Jimmie Cain and Glenn Nelson, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons; Ricky A. Vestal (Lisa) of Walburg, NC and Scott Vestal (Karen) of High Point, NC; siblings, Rebecca McKinley, Ervin A. Cain and Jerry W. Cain; grandchildren, Jonathan Vestal, Robert Vestal, Courtney Vestal (Brandon), Ashton B. Vestal, Emily Vestal Sanders (Patrick), Hayley Vestal, Logan Vestal (Tabatha), Mylinda Penley (Josh), Kelly Vestal Smith (Chris), Kelsey Vestal Underwood (Nick), Nathaniel S. Vestal (Emily), Mary Beth Vestal White; great grandchildren; Hunter White, Holden White, Houston Reed, Jacob Vestal, Karly Sanders, Brookly Bull, Kinsley Sanders, Skylar Vestal, Zoie Bull, Caleigh Long, Camden Long, Ellie Penley, Avery Barley, and Makayla Barley.

Private family services will be held on Monday, 2:00 pm at Guilford Memorial Park with Rev. Bobby Loving officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1803 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
