Maude K. Dymond

Maude was born on June 21, 1923 in Guilford County, NC, the daughter of Wade and Aileen Lamb Kearns. She was the Valedictorian of her high school class and graduated from Women’s College in Greensboro in 1940. She worked as the assistant to the Secretary of the Treasury during WW II. During this time she met and married her husband Ralph. Following the war, they moved to Miami where they operated an appliance store. When they sold the store, they then moved to Orlando, where Ralph was involved in the construction of Disney World

Maude loved plants and working in her garden. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

Maude was preceded in death by her husband in 1983. Those left to cherish her memory is her son, William Dymond and wife Kimberley of Pleasant Garden, NC ; daughter, Patricia Dymond Ashcroft of Paradise, TX; sister, Nancy Garrett of Pleasant Garden, NC and grandchildren, Jonathan, Rebecca, David, and Seth Dymond.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with Dr. Charles Hutchens officiating.
