Melanie was born on September 21, 1976 in Greensboro, NC, the daughter of Alvis Worlie and Anna Lee Mills Gammons. She was a loving daughter and will be deeply missed.
Melanie was preceded in death by her father Alvis in 2011 and her brother, Michael Keith Gammons in 1989. She is survived by her mother, Anna Lee Gammons of the home and her “soul mate”, David Moore.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Vanstory Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Guilford Memorial Park at 3:00 p.m.
