Michael James Doyle, of Greensboro, NC, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vickie. Mike leaves behind several nieces and nephews, his loyal companion, Cooper, and a devoted family of friends at Luigi’s.
Originally from Chicago, Mike and Vickie made North Carolina their home in the early 1990s when he joined Sherwin-Williams as a purchasing manager. Mike was deeply proud of his Irish heritage and was an active member of the Guilford County Ancient Order of Hibernians. His Catholic faith was an anchor throughout his life, and he worshiped faithfully at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Greensboro.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11AM, March 5, 2026 at St. Pius the Tenth Catholic Church, 2210 N. Elm St., Greensboro, NC 27408. A celebration of life will follow the service at Luigi’s Pizza, 1011 NC 150, Summerfield, NC. All are welcome to gather, share memories, and celebrate a life well lived. If you can be anything, be like Mike.
