On September 9, 2024, Michael Gordon Deal peacefully moved onto the other side of the veil at home, leaving behind his son, Shawn; his daughter, Angela; his granddaughter, Lily Grace Neumaier; his grandson, Axel Deal and his cat Kiki. He was a unique soul with a no-holds-barred approach to life. In his youth, the roar of his Chevy Impalas could be heard both on the streets and the track. Racing wasn't just a hobby for him; it was a reflection of his adventurous spirit and love for living life in the fast lane.
As the owner of County Line Auto Parts and a well-known auto mechanic, he turned his passion into a lifelong pursuit. His shop wasn't just a business—it was a gathering place where stories were shared, arms were wrestled and his expertise helped countless people in the community.
As a father, he prepared his children for the world in his own unique way. He taught us important life lessons that have shaped who we are today. While his methods were typically unconventional, they instilled in us resilience and a strong sense of self.
He was not without his complexities, but it's these very facets that made him who he was. We choose to remember the laughter, the lessons, and the indelible mark he left on our lives. His legacy lives on in the stories we tell and the memories we cherish.
We will miss him deeply but take comfort in knowing that he lived life on his own terms. May he rest in peace, and may we honor his memory by embracing life with the same authenticity and courage.
