Nam Van Tran, 62, a resident of Jamestown, North Carolina died August 8, 2010 at the UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Mr. Tran was born January 1, 1948 in Vietnam a son of Yen Van Tran and Tra Thi Truong. He was a former employee with Kayser Roth.
In 1967 he was married to Sang Nguyen, who survives of the home. Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Tho Thi Tran and husband Luat Le of Jamestown, four sons, Hong Tran and wife Hanh Vo, Phuoc Tran and wife Huong Pham, Tam Tran all of Jamestown, Truong Tran and wife Hieu Vo of High Point; one brother, Bay Van Tran and six grandchildren.
Burial will be Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery, 6000 High Point Road Greensboro, North Carolina 27407
Mr. Tran will remain at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home, 1900 Vanstory St., Greensboro, NC 27403
