A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery, 6000 West Gate City Ave., Greensboro, NC 27407.
Born in Thomasville, NC on September 13, 1931, to the late L.G. Atchison and Mary Reese Atchison, Patsy moved with her family to Greensboro, NC to live on the family farm. She was the youngest of six girls and one brother. In the 1970’s, she married Frank Clark and they moved to Georgia, where she lived for the rest of her life. Patsy was a hairdresser and cosmetologist who, after many years of experience, opened her own cosmetology business and several hair salons. She and her husband, Frank, enjoyed playing golf in their spare time. Even in her golden years, you could find her sitting in her favorite chair, watching the golf channel or reading her Bible. When she was able, Patsy liked flower and vegetable gardening, mowing the grass, trimming the shrubs, collecting fruit from their orchard and baking fruit pies.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Timothy Dale Clark and Michael Ray Clark; 3 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
