

Mrs. Pauline Gibson Jarrett, 88, of Greensboro, died Monday, August 20, 2012 at her home following a lengthy illness.
A graveside service will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Lakeview Memorial Park, with her grandson, Pastor David Turner officiating.
Pauline was born August 6, 1924 in Greensboro, the daughter of the late Walter Lee Gibson and Viola Edith Craddock.
Pauline was employed by Cone Mills, Made-Rite Sandwich Co. and also part-time at Adkins and Associates, retiring at the age of 82. She devoted her life to loving and caring for her family. No need went unnoticed or unmet. She was always at your door ready to help and to love.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband James Arnold Jarrett, son, Jerry Jarrett, daughter, Nancy Adkins , brothers, Paul, Buster, Melvin, Milton and James (Tommy) Gibson, sisters, Mildred Lloyd, Helen Durham and Agnes Yow, and her great granddaughter, Ashley Graves.
Surviving are her daughter, Pat Turner and husband Larry of Greensboro; grandchildren, Scott and David Turner, Laura Johnson, Arlene Graves, Cathy Pardue, Patty Lane Adkins, Haylee Grill, Rena Hamilton and Tracey Hinson; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
