Peggy Jane Manning

Peggy Jane Manning, 83 of Gibsonville, NC passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2025. Peggy was born on September 3, 1942, in Rockford, IL, daughter of the late Irwin and Bernice Cornish Aughenbaugh.Peggy had an attention to detail and wanted everything in place. She enjoyed spending time with family, cleaning her house, working in the yard and traveling to the mountains. Peggy was a member of Hope River Church in Gibsonville, NC where she loved being with her church family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Manning and brother Alan Aughenbaugh.

Peggy is survived by her son Roy Manning (Cindy) of Gibsonville, NC; brother Bill Aughenbaugh of Rockford, IL; grandchildren: Christopher Morrison (Candance) of Browns Summit, NC, Benjamin Morrison (Summer) of Jamestown, NC, Zachery Morrison of Gibsonville, NC, Hope Davis of Greensboro, NC and Cameron Southern of Greensboro, NC; four great-grandchildren: Caleb, Jonah, Caden and Julianna Morrison.

Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, 1:00 pm at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407.
