Richard “Rick” Ray Fields, 66, a resident of Lexington passed away on Thursday October 20, 2016. Rick was born January 27, 1950 in West Jefferson, the son of John Ray and Anna Darliene Burkett Fields.
Ray was a former employee with Furniture Brands.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Wilson Fields. Surviving are his brother, William Charles Fields of Pfafftown; uncles, Charles Burkett and wife Ann of Jefferson, James Franklin Stanley of Cary; step children, Susan Coble of Clemmons, Jan Beam and husband Hicks of Lexington, Lee Wilson and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensboro.
