Mr. Roy Lee Paschal

Roy retired from ABF (formerly Carolina Freight) after 33 years of service. He served honorably in the US Navy as an Engineer on the USS Tower. When he wasn't trucking, he restored and showed classic cars and watched ACC Basketball especially his beloved Duke Blue Devils. He also enjoyed spending time at the beach and traveling with friends all over the country. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather known as Ba by those who love him. He was a leader in his religion and was looked to for guidance and advice by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Audrey Paschal, his wife Nina Mills Paschal and son David Bryan Paschal. He leaves behind his oldest son Roy Allan Paschal and wife Melanie, Grandchildren Brandon Paschal and wife Tori, Ashley Buxton and husband Erik, Donnie Antonson, Olivia Paschal, and Nicolas Paschal, great grandchildren Jace, Laikyn, Kinley and Aiden, girlfriend Carol King and brother Mike Paschal and girlfriend Diane.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 16, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Advantage Funeral and Cremation, 1900 Vanstory Street Greensboro NC with burial Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park 6500 Liberty Road, Julian NC. In lieu of flowers Roy requested that memorial donations be made to Aurora Care/Hospice at Greensboro 2500 Summit Avenue Greensboro NC.
